Job Responsibilities:
- Implements specific architectural works following the work program of a project, or as requested within the department.
- Organizes and supervises the work engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides support and/or advice to project teams, as applicable.
- Responsible for efficient and effective design of architectural works, preparation of drawings, tender and contract documents, etc.
- Verifies that all designs, drawings, and documents are to current codes and standards and per company policies and standards.
- Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
- Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Architectural Department Manager or his responsible Principal Architectural Engineer, as applicable.
Job Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering.
- 5 to 8 Years of experience as Architectural Design Engineer.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic language.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer-aided design AUTO CAD, REVIT, 3D Max software, Visualization, and AI tools related to the Architectural Department.
- Create Life Safety Reports.
- Good knowledge of other software, such as presentation & animation software and MS Office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Architectural design standards and codes.
- Knowledge of local authorities and governmental regulations and codes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction techniques and high-tech materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels
- Excellent communication and team-player skills.
- Talents in design and reading/understanding others' designs.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to others in the design and preparation of drawings, specifications, and estimates to use in the course of design
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form in English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directives.
- Ability to gather, develop, and apply modern technical details.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization
- Able to learn, retain, and apply various laws and regulatory codes relevant to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines and coordinating with other disciplines.
